I went shopping to use coupons that were expring on 4/30. One of those was a $2/1 Olay Bar, but I forgot that the Super Target we went to didn't carry these! Didn't get to use that one, but Target was still the best stop of the day. Here is how I did on everything:
Kandoo Wipes $1.42
-$1/1 MQ
-$.42
Glade Candle $2.99
-FREE MQ (he took off max $3.99)
-$1/1 TQ
-$2 MM!
Milky Way (2) $1.38
-$1.38 or $.69 each
-I was in the negative so had to add some more stuff to take off the full value of the coupons I had.
Reese's (4) $2.76
-(2) BOGO TQs (took off $1.38)
-$1.38 or $.35 each
-Same story as above...in the negative...
Starkist Tuna Pouches (4) $3.88
-(4) $.50/1 MQs
-$1.88 or $.47 each
Nivea Bodywash- womens (2) $5.08

-(2) $3/1 MQs
-$.08 or $.04 each
Iron Man Silly Bands (4) $2.96 (clearance)
-(4) $3/1 MQs (I wasn't going to get these if they didn't go though but the cahier pushed them through. I didn't want to use them wrong!)
-$9.04 MM!
Eveready Batteries $1
-$1/1 MQ (Energizer)
-FREE!
Books (4) $1 (clearance)
-$.25 each (Haylee loves books!)
Fiber One Bars (4) $10
-(4) $.40/1 MQs
-(2) $1/2 TQs
-$6.40 or $1.60 each (not great, but I had overage to absorb)
Women's Plus Size Shirts (2) $6
-(2) $3/1 TQs
-FREE! (I'm not a plus size, but I can donate these!)
It was also sample day and my mom, Nichole and I all got free fulls size Kuerig drinks. I got the iced lemonade and tea and it was amazing!
Before coupons and tax my total was $44.55. I used $10.43 in TQs and $33.99 in MQs. This made my new subtotal $.13. With $1.36 tax I paid $1.49 OOP for all of this stuff...which I put on a gift card I had previously earned. So, 100% savings :)
Instead of leaving off a bad CVS trip I decided to include it, so people see that it doesn't always work out as planned. I wanted to get the Colgate MaxFresh that will be $2.77 with $2.77 back in ECB so I could use coupons that expire on 4/30, however, the sale price from the current week was $1.97 so I knew the ECBs wouldn't print.
Honest Tea (3) $2.97
-BOGO MQ ($.99)
-$1 MQ (I tried to buy two and use both coupons, but it didn't work. Instead of having it voided, I decided to just add another one so I could use my $1/1 MQ)
-$.98 or $.33 each
Cap'N Crunch (3) $2.50
-(3) $.50/1 MQs
-$1 or $.33 each
PowerBars (4) $3.96
-(2) BOGO MQs (took off $1.98)
-Tried to use a $1/2 and it didn't work :(
-I also thought I would get credit towards a deal starting this week and it didn't show up :(
-$1.98 or $.50 each
I used $4 ECB and didn't get any back. This is an unsuccessful trip to CVS for me eventhough it was a savings of 100%.
Walmart was our first stop of the day and I would say 2nd in the most successful. I was looking for the Iron Man II Matchbox Cars and they didn't have them. I was looking forward to that overage and trying to get them to hand me cash back this time, but it didn't work out this time.
Iams Cat Food $7.67
-Free MQ from rebate
Oral-B Toothbrush $1.97
-$2/1 MQ
-$.03 MM!
Degree Deoderant (3) $2.91
-(3) $1/1 MQs
-$.09 MM!
My total before tax and coupons was $12.55. I used $12.67 in MQs and my subtotal was negative $.12. The $.88 tax made my OOP $.76!
There is not a picture of Walgreens, but it was decent too, except I didn't use my RR. I should have added tuna so I could have used my two $3 RR. Anyhow....
Nexcare Bandages (2) $5.98
-(2) $.55/1 MQs
-$5.98 MIR
-$1.10 MM!
Crayola Molding Clay (2) $1 (clearance)
-$1/2 MQ
-FREE!
My total was $6.98 and I used $2.10 in MQs to bring my total to $4.88. Tax was $.49, so I paid $5.37 OOP and will be getting back $5.98. After tax this is a $.61 MM!
The retail value of this stuff was $73.51. I paid $7.62 OOP which was mainly tax and will be getting back $5.98 for a MIR. This means I spent $1.64 (tax included) which is a savings of 98%
