Walgreens 5/23...Low Dose Bayer MM!

I read about an awesome moneymaker at Walgreens that I wanted to take advantage of before they ran out. Luckily they were overstocked and I didn't even make a dent with the eight Bayers that I bought. I was also hoping that Revlon coupons would print with the purchase of the hair ties, but that didn't happen for me:( Here is what I got:

Spontaneous Monday night trip to Pioneers Park

Jason and I decided to take a mini trip to Pioneers Park tonight to feed the geese and see the buffalo. The buffalo were actually pretty far away, so I didn't get any pictures. After that we stopped at Zestos and Haylee enjoyed sharing our ice cream!

On our way to Pioneers Park!

Walmart 5/21.....Awesome Trip :)

Today is the last day to use the Pepsi Co coupons. I know there has been some debate over the Propel coupon. When I first read it, I thought I could use it on a single. I didn't even think of it as a misprint by the manufacturer. I decided I would go to Walmart, see if it worked. If not, oh well, if so, great! Well, it worked and here is everything I walked out with:

Propel Zero (9) $4.50
-(9) $1/1 MQs
-$4.50 MM!

Duncan Hines Brownies (4) $4 (price matched to Walgreens)
-(4) $.50/1 MQs
-$2 or $.50 each

-FREE!

My subtotal was $20.67. I used $20 in MQs and paid $.67 plus $.27 in tax for a total of $.94.

I am loving the Pepsi Co coupons and am sad they expire today. I may have to go use a few more today as I seen the pretzels on sale at SuperSaver for $1.98. Which mean $1.96 for two bags of pretzels and two 2L of Sierra Mist!

CVS 5/21...FREE Candy!

I was hoping to get next weeks deals, but as I have seen reported on blogs many times this last week, next weeks sales are not ringing up at those sale prices :( I guess I could say that they aren't on the red scanner, I didn't try with a cashier though. Because of this, this is all I walked out with today.

Reese's Pieces (2) $6
-(2) $2/1 CRTs
-$2/2 MQ
-FREE!

The best part about this trip was the coupons I got though. I got $5 ECB for Beauty Club, another $3/$10 Healthcare I plan to use tomorrow and some others....

Walgreens 5/21...Just OK

I couldn't find the Dole Crisp at any Walgreens, so I was going to price match them at Walmart. Then at my usual store, I noticed them on the top shelf as though they were a new item and they had no where to put them. Here is how I did:

Dole Fruit Crisp (5) $5
-(5) $.75/1 MQs
-$1.25 or $.25 each

Chips Ahoy Reese's Cookies $.25 (clearance- not pictured :)

I got the Chips Ahoy so I could use a $1 RR. This means I paid $.50 for these plus the cookies not pictured!

Target 5/21...Not as planned, but good!

I didn't have any of the Revlon catalinas, so I bought one package of nail files for $1.27 plus $.09 tax first. I used a gift card so didn't pay anything OOP. This caused the catalina machine to spit out a $5/2 MQ, $2/1 MQ and $2/1 TQ. After that, I continued my shopping. Here is what I got all together:

Revlon Nail Files (3) $3.81
-$5/2 MQ

Revlon Nail Clippers $2.24
-$2/1 MQ
-$2/1 TQ
-$1.76 MM!

Animal Crackers (2) $2
-$2 or $1 each

Mini Planner $1.24 (clearance)
-I needed this, so perfect to use my overage on!

Headband $1
-July 4th for Haylee!

All together, my subtotal at Target was $10.29. I used $7 in MQs and a $2 TQ. This means I paid $1.29 plus $.44 tax for this stuff. (Which I put on a gift card) I also have three new Revlon catalinas for next time!

Walgreens 5/19...Gillette Moneymaker!

I was able to hunt down enough coupons to try the Gillette moneymaker I have been reading about. I also found two more coupons for the Oscar Mayer sandwiches, so this was a great trip for me. I had an excellent, young gentleman as my cashier too!

-(3) $2/1 MQs
-$3 RR Earned

-This could have been a $2.75 MM had I not pointed out to the cashier that the max on the coupons was $4.99.

Oscar Mayer Sandwiches (2) $3
-(2) $1/1 MQs
-$1 RR Earned
-Free!

Act Popcorn (4) $2 (clearance)
-(2) $1/2 MQs
-Free!

I paid $2.08 plus $1.54 tax OOP for a total of $3.62. I got back $4 which means this was a $.38 MM after tax!

Walgreens 5/17...Easy Moneymaker!

I read that the Reach Toothbrushes were producing a $4 RR when you buy 4 again. Lucky me, I had (2) $2/2 MQs that were set to expire in a few days. Walgreens is normally out of these, but I thought I would still try as I wanted to go in and stock up on the Oscar Mayer Sandwiches. To my surprise, there were exactly four of the toothbrushes left! Here is how I did:

Reach Toothbrush (4) $3.96
-(2) $2/2 MQs (adjusted down)
-$4 RR Earned
-$4 MM!

Oscar Mayer Subs (2) $3
-$1/1 MQ
-$1 RR Earned
-$1 or $.50 each!

I spent $2 plus $.28 OOP and got back $5, so this was a $2.72 MM!

Walgreens and CVS 5/15....It was a good day :)

Physician's Formula Correcting Primer $4.99
-$5/1 MQ (adjusted to $4.99)
-Free!

Pediasure Sidekicks (2) $6.78 (clearance)
-(2) $3.50/1 MQs (Wags Cats- one adjusted down)

-(2) $2/1 MQs
-$10 ECB Earned
-$2.58 or $1.29 each

-$.51 MM!

Excedrin PM $5.59
-$1.50/1 CVS Q
-$2.50/1 MQ
-$3/$10 CVS Q
-$1.41 MM!

Altogether, my subtotal was $42.40. I used $21.24 in MQs and $20.44 in CVS Qs and ECBs. The cashier and I weren't on the same page when she adjusted one of my $5 ECBs down to $4.12. I asked if she could back it off and she said she would have to re-ring the whole order. I let it go. Fortunately, the Revitalens ECB rounded up so I recouped some of that loss there. All of this ended up costing me $.72 plus $2.32 tax OOP which went on a gift card!

My Walgreens pictures look the same and they are very similar! (but not the same)

Starbucks Double Shots (14) $17.50
-(14) $1/1 MQs
-$.50/2 WQ (took off $3.50
-Free!

Oscar Mayer Sub Sandwich (4) $6
-(2) $1 RR Earned
-$4 or $1 each (and I really like these!)

At Walgreens I spent $6 OOP for $23.50 worth of stuff. I also got back the $2 in RR. I will be going back to get more Oscar Mayer Subs and the Gillette Bodywash and Deoderant when I get more coupons. (there is a $1/1 Oscar Mayer in todays paper which will make those free!)

Here is my big girl!

Kohls...Saved 100% and a Picture of Haylee

I hate taking pictures of clothes because it's hard to see the good value you got. I am doing it anyways because I had a fabulous trip yesterday. I had a $10 coupon in my e-mail for a store remodeling - come check us out kind of thing. I scoured the baby clearance for Haylee and couldn't find anything I liked for her that I was willing to pay. So, I "bought" a couple of things for myself.

Unionbay Shoes $4.69 (clearanced from $46.99)

Apt. 9 Top $5.20 (clearanced from $26)

So I would have never paid $73 for these two items, but after the clearance prices, they came up to $9.89. My $10 coupon took off all of that and there was no tax since it was a store coupon! So...100% FREE, and I am wearing my new shoes to work today!

Lastlty, here is a picture of Haylee being cute!

Walgreens 5/8....Not too Shabby!

Because it is Mother's Day, I convinced Jason to let me go to Walgreens this morning before all of the Clean & Clear Bodywash was gone. Here is what else I got:

Clean & Clear Bodywash (4) $23.96
-(2) BOGO MQs (took off $11.98)
-BOGO Sale (took off $11.98)

Sun Burnt Gel $3.99
-$.50/1 MQ
-$3.99 MIR
-$.50 MM!

Highlighters (5) $1.25 (clearance fillers)

When I was leaving, I noticed someone left all of their catalina coupons in a cart. I grabbed those! All together, I lost $12 in RR and spent $1.19 plus tax OOP. This means I spent $13.19 - $3.99 MIR = $9.20 for two packs of diapers, one pack of wipes and four bottles of bodywash! I will be going back for more diapers this week!

Walgreens 5/7....With a Surprise Ending :)

I wanted to get to Walgreens one more time to check for Right Guard Bodywash and get the Magic Erasers deal again too. No such luck with the Right Guard, but here is what I got:

Magic Erasers Extra Power $2.61 (only had 3 originals left)
Febreze Air Effects $2.46
-(4) $1.50/1 MQs
-$1/1 MQ
-$3 RR Earned
-$.89 or $.18 each

Pencil $.39
-filler that was in clearance end cap, but didn't ring up that way!

My subtotal was $11.28, after coupons and a $3 RR I paid $1.28 OOP. This is a savings of 89%. If you include the $.79 tax, it was a savings of 82%.

The best part of this trip:

Haylee and I walked to Hobby Lobby to check out Easter clearance (which there was none) and on our way back to the car, I found $20 on the ground! I looked around to see if it could be anyones and there was no one around, so I kept it! That's going to help with all of the Pampers I plan on buying this week :)

CVS 5/6...Savings of over 100%

This is my first trip to CVS this week and I am glad I waited. The $5/$20 coupon that came out in all of the newspapers helped me tremendously today. I didn't get it in my paper, but printed one off from an online newspaper. It didn't go through and I wasn't going to fuss about it, but the cashier pushed it through anyways! Here is how I did:

Tostitos Chips (2) $5.98

Walgreens 5/6....Saving of 91%

I went to three different stores to get all of this. It was a total of 7 transactions and I will be going back for more. However, I notice now while looking at my receipts that they rang up at $4.49! Here is the details of what I got all in one:

I started with $6 RR.

Before coupons and tax my total was $44.55. I used $10.43 in TQs and $33.99 in MQs. This made my new subtotal $.13. With $1.36 tax I paid $1.49 OOP for all of this stuff...which I put on a gift card I had previously earned. So, 100% savings :)

Instead of leaving off a bad CVS trip I decided to include it, so people see that it doesn't always work out as planned. I wanted to get the Colgate MaxFresh that will be $2.77 with $2.77 back in ECB so I could use coupons that expire on 4/30, however, the sale price from the current week was $1.97 so I knew the ECBs wouldn't print.
