Walgreens 2/27.....$10.46 Profit :)

So, I wanted to make sure that I got to Walgreen's early enough to get in on the amazing Motrin MM! I had 6 of the $6/2 coupons (4 printables and 2 from the paper). I may even have one more around here that hasn't been cut from the insert yet. This was in two different trips and I did not clear the shelves of the Motrin either. Also, I have already given away 6 of the boxes to my friend and my sister.

I didn't have any RR to start, but that is the beauty of the Motrin deal because I only had to pay tax ($.42) on each two Motrins I bought and I got back $3. Needless to say, I have $18 in RR now :)

Motrin (12) $36
-(6) $6/2 MQs
-$18 RR Earned ($3 for every 2)
-$18 MM!

Bread $1.69

-(3) $2/1 MQs

Overall, I paid $4.18 for the milk and bread and $3.36 in tax for a total of $7.54. I earned $18 RR, so these trips were a profit of $10.46!

$81.93 of Science Diet for $2 plus tax!

Petsmart is having an amazing deal on their Science Diet Dog Food. I only had one of the $5 MQ from the paper. However, I did see on another blog about coupons from their website. I signed up and got $28 worth of coupons there. Overall, I had $38 worth of coupons so I picked up 7 bags of the food that was on sale for $5 each. I paid $2 plus $2.45 in tax for a total of $4.45. The original price of this food is $81.93. I could have gotten 6 bags and paid just $2.10 in tax, but I thought I would get the 7th for and extra $2 as that is an amazing deal :)

This is a savings of 98% !!!!!!

Target 2/14....Saved 81%

We went to Target to look at adding my sister in-law to our family plan. Although there was no one there to help us with a phone at 5:30, I was able to pick up a couple of things I wanted from Target. Here is what I got:

CVS 2/12....Savings of....87%

Again, I did not have Haylee when I went to CVS and it was so nice to walk down aisles and look at clearance stuff. It is hard to say what my percentage saved was because I only had $5 ECB that I used and I used a gift card to pay anyways. That being said, I saved 100%! I will still do subtotal minus coupons and ECB Earned to see the percentage. Here is what I got:

I have tried to add up numbers two different ways and am getting two different things. My subtotal (after sales, before coupons and tax) was $98.46. I paid with $33.99 in MQs, $5 ECBs and $8 CVS Qs. I also earned $36.57 back in ECBs. So I spent $44.09 on my gift card, subtract what I earned in ECB ($31.57, $5 I originally had) I paid $12.52 for all of this stuff, which is a savings of 87%

Walgreens 2/6....Savings of 97%

I had some RR expiring, so although I didn't earn as many back, I still had a low OOP for items we needed and you can't beat that! Here is what I got:

I paid with $21 in RR and $2.52 OOP ($.85 plus $1.67 tax). I only earned $8 back in RR but I am okay with that!

CVS 2/6...Savings of 97%

I was able to have such a high savings without paying with any ECBs because I had a $5/$30 to use. I have/had quite a bit of free item coupons that I used to make this all go through smoothly. Here is what I did:

I wanted to get to CVS to take advantage of the Unileaver/Ragu deal. I went to the first store and they only had 2 of the traditional left and I didn't really want the meat sauce. I even had to take two pictures because I couldn't get everything in one picture :)

Savemart....Savings of 57%

January Savings Total!

I have started to track my savings using the Savings Tracker. In January here is how I did:

Total Shelf Costs (after sale prices): $1298.43
Total Manufacturers Coupons Used: $539.60
Total Store Coupons/RR,ECB,GF: $516.63
Total Out of Pocket: $237.19 (includes tax)

Savings Percentage = 86.72%

AMAZING!

Note** I bought alot of Sinex this month and used $4/1 MQs for each one. This brought my total manufacturers coupons up alot. I also had a free diapers and wipes coupon from Huggies that brought the total up too! Our budget is $200 a month, so although we were over, I am thrilled with our savings :)
