Walgreens 8/28....Lost $1 RR but got some stuff we needed!

We (Haylee and I) headed to Walgreens at 8 this morning to get what was on my list. I had a decent scenario worked out and didn't want to have to come up with something else because they were sold out. That plan worked and I got everything as planned in two transactions.

Estroven (2) $20
-(2) $3/1 MQs
-$20 RR Earned (2 $10 RRs)
-$6 MM!

Carmex (2) $3
-$3 RR Earned (2 $1.50 RRs)
-FREE!

Eggs $.99
-$.99 ($1.29 in ad so had to throw in caramel to use RR)

Caramel $.33
-$.33

Miracle Whip $6.79
-$2.49 WQ (took off $4.30)
-$2.49

Rotellas Bread $1.49

Campbell's Chunky Soup (2) $6.78
-$.50/2 MQs
-2/$3 WQ (took off $3.78)
-$2.50 or $1.25 each

My subtotal was $39.38. I paid with $6.50 in MQs, $8.08 in WQs and $24 in RRs. This brought my total to $.80 plus $1.62 tax for a total of $2.42 OOP. I did lose $1 RR but this was still a savings of 98%.

Walgreens BIG Dove Moneymaker - - 8/22

I just read about the Dove moneymaker at Walgreens and because I had (3) $3 RRs and (1) $4 RR, I decided I could use those with a small filler to keep my OOP low and make some money! My two worries were that 1) they wouldn't have any Dove left and 2) they would have caught on before I got there and the deal wouldn't be working anymore. LUCKILY, the deal was still working and they had enough soap I could have done this about 15 more times. (Instead, I told my cashier about it so she could take advantage of it as well ;) I stuck with four transactions and it is listed here as one to make it easier:

Dove Bar Soap (12) $23.88
-$.99 WQ (took off $12)
-Earned $24 RR
-$12.12 MM!

Folders (3) $2.07
-6/$1 WQ (took off $1.56)
-$.51 or $.17 each

Lunch Bags $2.19
-$1.29 WQ (took off $.90)
-$1.29

My subtotal was $28.14 I used NO MQs, $14.46 in WQs and $13 in RRs. This brought my total to $.68 plus $.96 tax for a total of $1.64. However, I earned $9 in RRs more than what I started with. Therefore, before tax, this trip was a $8.32 MONEYMAKER!

8/14 Walgreens....Pampers!

I wanted to do the Pampers deal twice, so I did the other deals twice. I only did two transactions so my OOP was a little high because I couldn't use any of the RRs from the first transaction on the second.

There was also a little problem with the Pampers coupon that printed out, so I don't know if they changed that to after the Infant Care Booklet coupons. The first transaction I bought $30 worth of diapers which means a $5 Pampers coupon should have printed out. However, only a $2 one printed out. On my second transactions, I bought the same amount of diapers but forgot to give the Infant Care book code and a $5 printed out. So, yeah, that is what I am going with!

Here is my two transactions listed as one:

Pampers (6) $60
-(6) $2/1 MQs
-$2/1 WQ (took off $12)
-$6 RR Earned (two $3 RRs)
-$7 Pampers coupons printed out!
-$30 or $5 each

Pampers Wipes $2.49
-$2 MQ printed in T1
-$.49

Scope Mouthwash (4) $8 (clearance)
-(4) $.75/1 MQs
-$6 RR (two $3 RRs)
-$1 MM!

Milk $3.59
-$.50/1 MQ
-$3.09

Revlon Nail Polish (2) $7.98
-(2) $2/1 WQs
-$6 RR Earned (two $3 RRs)
-$2.02 MM!

Breathe Right Strips (3) $.75 (clearance)
-$.25 each

My subtotal was $82.21. I used $17.50 in MQs, $16 in WQs and $9 in RRs. This brought my total to $52.31. I also earned $9 RRs for a total of $18 and I have a $5 Pampers coupons left over. That means all of this cost me $43.31. It looks like it is only a savings of 48%, but it feels better than that!

CVS 8/13....ALOT of Coke!

My mom got a $5/$25 she wasn't going to use, so she let me use it. I just got my 10 free 20 oz Coke coupons in the mail from mycokerewards so I was going to use those to get to the $25 mark. I didn't really want to leave any unused ECB on her card so I didn't use any rainchecks! I did two transactions, but it is listed here as one. Here is what I got:

Coke (10) $16.90
-(10) FREE MQs from mycokerewards
-FREE CVS Q from B9G1 (only took off $1.49 though?)
-$1.49 MM!

Pampers $8.99
-$2 MQ
-$3 ECB Earned
-$3.99

Batteries (2) $12.98
-BOGO Sale took off $6.49
-$3/1 CVS Q (printed on first receipt)
-$3.49 or $1.75 each

Skittles (3) $3.57
-B2G1 Sale didn't come off, so will be going back to get my $1.19!
-FREE MQ from winning game
-$1.19 or $.40 each

CVS Brand Tylenol (not pictured) $2.79
-$1 ECB Earned
-$1.79

The subtotal was $45.23. I used $20.09 in MQs, $15.98 in CVS Qs and Sales (including $5/$25) and $3 ECBs with $1 left over. This brought me to $6.16 plus $.98 tax for a total of $7.14 OOP. This means I saved 89%

Walgreens 8/13...I got $.22 back :)

I've read that Walgreens deals are available on Saturday...just not the Register Rewards. Because of this, I wanted to go in and try for myself on the Expo Markers. As you can see from the picture...all went well. Here is everything I got:

Expo Marker (8) $31.92
-(4) $2/2 MQs
-$3/1 WQ (took off $24)
-$.08 MM!

Listerine Smart Rinse $3
-$1/1 MQ
-$2 RR Earned
-FREE!

Listerine Mouthwash (2) $4 (clearance)
-(2) $1/1 MQs
-$2 or $1 each

Huggies Wipes $5.99
-(2) $2/1 WQs
-$1.99

The subtotal was $44.91. I used $11 in MQs, $28 in WQs and a $5 RR. This brought my total to $.91 plus $2.86 in tax for a total of $3.77. However, I returned some Excedrin I bought the day before which meant they gave me $.22 back :) I did lost $3 in RR too, but overall, I was super thrilled with the trip because of the Expo markers!

OfficeMax 8/10....I REALLY LOVE this place!

I needed cardstock for some stuff in my classroom and OfficeMax is always my choice when it comes to these kinds of stores. I had to head home to grab the $10/$50 coupon I had and checked out the ad to see what I could add to reach my $50. Well, I have been waiting to use my $1/2 Bic coupons and now was the perfect time as they have them for $.99 and buy 2 get 2 free or BOGO! Here is what I got:

Bic Pens (84) $83.16 ( I asked if I could have this many :)
-BOGO Sale (took off $41.58)
-(42) $1/2 MQs
-$.42 MM!

Filler Paper (6) $.06 (told I could double limit b/c I'm a teacher!)
-$.06 or $.01 each!

Glue (3) $1.50
-$1.50 or $.50 each

Cardstock $13.49
-$10/$50 OfficeMax Q
-$3.49

I only brought one reusable bag, so they gave me another teacher one with all the coupons and samples in it! Anyways, my subtotal was $98.21. I paid $4.63 plus $3.26 tax for a total of $7.89 OOP! The cardstock I needed was $13.49 originally alone :) This is a savings of 95%!

I may also get 20% back on my MaxPerks! The $10/$50 coupons I used is to hand out to students and says "help your teacher earn 20%"....I don't know how that will work though, but that could turn this into a moneymaker!

Last Weeks CVS Gas Card Deal!

So, I am obviously a little behind! I went back to work...and no more summer break for me. However, here is the CVS Gas Card deal that I did last week.

Skippy (14) $23.33
Ragu (4) $6.67
-(7) $1/2 Skippy MQs
-(2) $.40/2 Ragu MQs
-$5/$30 CVS Email Q
-$10 Gas Card Earned
-$7.20 or $.40 each!

This was a 76% savings! We eat spaghetti atleast once, if not twice a week and Jason makes sandwiches everyday for work. Now that I am back to work, I may be making sandwiches too :)
